Course For Puppies

Welcome to our 4 week Loose Leash Walking Course for Puppies! This course is designed specifically for young dogs who are just learning how to walk on a leash. Our goal is to help you and your puppy develop a strong bond and to teach your puppy to walk calmly and happily on a leash.

Teaching your puppy to maintain a loose leash while walking isn’t going to happen the minute you slap a leash on your puppy and take them outside.

During the four weeks, you will learn techniques for teaching your puppy to walk on a loose leash, as well as tips for addressing common issues like pulling and jumping.

Not only will we teach leash walking, but we show you how to develop your puppy’s focus – something than many dog owners and trainers skip over.

With regular practice, patience, and consistent training, your puppy will soon be walking like a pro. Let’s get started!

What to bring:

Your puppy on a leash and collar/harness, high value tasty treats, a toy if your puppy is toy motivated.

This course is only for puppies under 16 weeks, minimum 9 weeks (this is not for adult dogs). This course can be undertaken at the same time as puppy school – the earlier you start the better!

Please Note: This course can be completed at the same time as puppy school (whether with us or someone else) or as a standalone course. Please remember that this is not puppy school, you will not be taught to sit, stay, come etc – it’s a specialised course focused on puppy leash walking and focus under distraction.
