Paws, Claws & Tails’ Group Dog Obedience Classes are a comprehensive training program designed to help dog owners teach their dogs essential obedience skills. The program is divided into three levels, each one building on the previous stage to help dogs progress from basic commands to more advanced behaviours.
The program is divided into three levels: Foundation Obedience, Progressive Obedience, and Advanced Obedience. The first level introduces basic commands and socialization on a standard leash. The second level builds on the first with more distractions and a longer leash. The third level is for advanced obedience, including off-leash commands, and is for dogs who have completed the first two levels. Owners can progress at their own pace and take as many classes as needed.
Our classes include regular assessments held every 3-4 months to evaluate the dog’s skills and determine if they are ready to move to the next level. The assessments test the dog’s abilities and provide feedback to the owners and trainers on areas that need improvement. The assessments ensure that dogs are learning and progressing steadily through the structured program.
