Why Teach Your Dog Tricks?

Through these sessions, both you and your companion learn to understand cues, enhance non-verbal communication, and establish a deeper connection, strengthening your relationship.
  2. Confidence and Social Skills: Participating in acting and modelling classes helps boost your dog’s confidence and social skills. It exposes them to new environments, people, and experiences, allowing them to become more comfortable and self-assured in various situations. This newfound confidence can positively impact their behaviour, making them more adaptable and sociable in everyday life.
  3. Fun and Enrichment: These classes offer a fun and enriching experience for both you and your dog. It’s an opportunity to engage in enjoyable activities together, stimulating your dog’s mind, encouraging creativity, and providing mental stimulation. ABOUT OUR DOG ACTING & MODELLING CLASSES

We have two separate courses. One course is our Dog Modelling Course – which is our easier course which dives into preparing your dog for still photography and modelling gigs.

Our Dog Acting Course goes a step further to teach dogs how to “act” on the sets of commercials and potentially TV and film.

Successful completion of either or both of these courses provides the opportunity to be added to our Animal Talent Australia™ dog talent directory.

No matter your dog’s breed, age, fitness level or level of training, all dogs are welcome!

Please note: Your dog must be able to focus on you around other dogs and ideally there would be no barking at other dogs. Otherwise, private sessions may be more suitable.

This course is 4 weeks long and run on Saturday mornings . During the course, you’ll learn how to prepare your dog for acting or modelling gigs (depending on the course you choose).

Classes run for 50 mins at one class per week for the 4 week course. Limited spots available!

Classes are conducted at our training premises in Buderim 4556.

Hope to see you and your dog soon!

DOG MODELLING COURSE

Join our Dog Modelling Course, an ideal starting point for your best friend’s journey into the world of modelling. This course is designed to prepare your dog for captivating still photography and modelling gigs. Through fun and interactive sessions, your dog will learn essential techniques, poses, and skills perfect for the camera.

Our group modelling classes are 50 minutes long and are limited to 6-8 dogs. No prior experience is necessary – just a positive attitude. Courses run for consecutive 4 weeks with dates listed on our booking page. There are no make up classes if a class is missed – however a private session can be booked to catch up.

This option is not suitable for reactive dogs as all dogs are working at the same time – private lessons may be more suitable.

DOG ACTING COURSE

Take the leap into the exciting realm of canine performance with our Dog Acting Course! This course delves deeper, teaching your dog the art of ‘acting’ for commercials and potentially TV and film sets. Through specialised training and engaging exercises, your dog will learn to emote, follow cues, and perform convincingly on camera.

If group classes aren’t suitable for you, private sessions might be. These lessons are more flexible and are entirely tailored to you and your dog. Lessons can be conducted at a beginner level all the way through to an advanced level for those wanting to fine tune their technique.

This option is more suitable for reactive dogs.
